“Le piccole cose”: from the short movie experience, the finance for the next short movie of Federico Armeni, directed as well by Luigi M. Marani

The short movie le piccole cose was the first project by Federico Armeni about the “cinema world”. After showed the short movie to some producers, he had the finance to produce a new one.
After one year “le piccole cose” can be considered a “first experience”, and the will to produce something really bigger than that, works Federico Armeni to wait for the production of the new Short Movie, and then decide to present “Le piccole cose” as well.
Hard work and hard times are gonna come!

The filmaker Luigi Marani has in the middle worked in another short movie, called “Ad fundum”, and he has helped the Manetti Bros in the last movie of them. Federico Armeni worked in Usa 3 months writing about arts, culture and music in South United States: Florida, Texas, California. And he also worked in Paris and Netherlands (Utrecht, Amsterdam, Den Haag).

Next movie will be necessarly something stronger, deeper and kind a different.

Trailer “The Small Things”

The trailer of the short movie is realized.

Rossella D’agostino is working for the audio settings yet, but in the middle we have inserted the “first making” of it, to soddisfy the curiosities of people that are waiting from fabruary to see images from “Le Piccole Cose (The Small Things)”.

The movie will be ready soon as possibile. We’re working to do a good, perfect, work. We try it!

Il Montaggio del contometraggio, concordato con Lorenzo Di Ciaccia in base alla disponibilità sua e del suo studio di montaggio con Final Cut, la seconda settimana di Marzo è stata la settimana scelta in cui fare il montaggio del corto.

Segnalazione particolarmente importante per Anastasia, che dovrebbe visionare la cassetta sulla scena del traffico per tempo, e per Luigi, che deve dare le indicazioni di montaggio. Lorenzo ha anche detto che, se Anastasia farà in tempo a fare la pagina delle buone per il traffico, le cassette possiamo dargliele anche il 4-5 marzo, in modo tale da poter fare prima un pre-montato, e poi scegliere bene per il montaggio finale in due giorni da concordare della settimana successiva.

Caos Calmo…

Yesterday Federico, Matteo, Cristiano, Luigi, Lorenzo, Anastasia and Rossella, stayed to the cinema, watching “Caos calmo”, with Nanni Moretti. It was a relaxed and nice night, the movie was gorgeous, and we have talked too about “Le Piccole Cose”.

All are working for the short movie, the musicians for the soundtrack, the programming for the video and audio editing, and the start up of comunication and distribuition.

We have not hurry, but we stay calm… with a calm chaos…

You have only to wait to see “Le Piccole Cose (The Small Things)”.

The communication and distribution will be strong, and time to organize all is not small.

In the middle, we have decided to go in the studio editing to finish the work and see the final result. But we are wating for the music too, where Gianluca Alessi of Areamag is working.

Al Joshua guest in “Le Piccole Cose (the Small things)”

Aldo Iosue, in art “Al Joshua”, is an international trombonist that plays with J.J Jonhnson and is cosidered one of the most important studious of Jazz, arrangiaments and Trombone.

Al Joshua has taken part in “Le Piccole Cose (The Small Things)”, and now he has invited all of the production at his concert at “Be Bop Jazz Club” in Testaccio. The concert will be the 7th febraury, at 22:15, via giulietti 14.

Coincidence wants that the Bebop Jazz Club is the place where we’ve maked a scene of the short movie.

All are invited at the concert, please confirm the presence to yoursmallthings@yahoo.it or personal emails of the production. It can be an occasion to see all together, in the middle of your business and full days (it was so difficult to organize an evening together in the past weeks).
